13 February 2010 Was the day I would finally see Palau de la Musica, and it was awesome. The night started out by the pitter patter of the rain all over Barcelona (being typical Barcelona weather, we were used to this). 10-12 February 2010. Among other minor events, the last couple of days included a tour of Gaudí and Güell’s first major project, Palau Güell, or Güell’s downtown city house next to Barcelona’s La Rambla. (And yes, this is the same Güell of the Park Güell) View full article »

09 February 2010 was the day we checked out what all the hubub was all about: Cook and Taste. After a long day at school and studio, we gathered at Barcelona’s Jaume I metro stop, had a quick cerveza, and went for the restaurant (http://www.cookandtaste.net/) which let you be the chef of a catalan specialty. 29-31 January 2010 was our pilgrimage to Cadaqués, Spain. We began by boarding our bus at the Barcelona Nord station adjacent to the Arc de Triumf and set off on our 2 hour ride towards France. View full article »
28-29 January 2010 were excellent days. Although no pictures were taken to document Thursday the 28th, I figure I need to mention that studio was excellent. We set up our work spaces, went shopping for a t-square (which Barcelona appears to be fresh out of), and sketched. The studio space is a nice and peaceful place to work during the late afternoon. The day went by quickly and was over in no time but the late night was the most hectic night of the year so far. View full article »
27 January 2010 was a relaxed day. It began with spanih and our Gaudí class which seems to be an all arhitecture class now. After finishing a brief history of Barcelona and Catalunya, we were set free in the “typical” cold Barcelona weather. View full article »
26 January 2010 was a very nice Tuesday for 4 reasons: First of all, the weather was not our typical “Barcelona weather” but sunny, warm, and enjoyable (inside joke about how the weather for January has been cold and rainy, atypical for the Mediterranean city). Second, simple mathematics: a camera + great lighting + weekday + great weather = great photo opportunity. As for the third reason, you can’t complain when you have no class ’til 3.
