09 February 2010 was the day we checked out what all the hubub was all about: Cook and Taste. After a long day at school and studio, we gathered at Barcelona’s Jaume I metro stop, had a quick cerveza, and went for the restaurant (http://www.cookandtaste.net/) which let you be the chef of a catalan specialty.
Our whole group surrounded the table as we took turns preparing parts of our meal from our dessert to the main course of paella. It was a ton of fun hanging out and enjoying life in Barcelona.
During the ordeal, we learned little cooking tips along with some cultural insights. Our cook was great and even taught us thinks like spanish tongue twisters and how to open a bottle without a corkscrew (which didn’t work out all that well). All in all, It was a great time.
